Almased Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
We couldn’t resist the blended flavors of Almased, banana, natural peanut butter and almond milk. We’re certain you’ll enjoy it too! Bananas are a good source of potassium, dietary fiber, manganese and vitamins B6 & C. Natural peanut butter is full of protein and fiber, and is a great super food for athletes and those looking for energy that will help keep you feeling fed and satisfied. Blended together with Almased and almond milk you will have a tasty, nutritious snack or meal that will delight your inner monkey.
Monkey Smoothie Recipe
1 Serving: 450 calories per serving when using 8 tbsp Almased [405 with 6 tbsp Almased / 495 with 10 tbsp Almased]
- 6-8 tbsp Almased*
- 4 oz water
- 4 oz almond milk (unsweetened)
- ½ banana
- 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice
Pour the unsweetened almond milk and water into the blender. Next add your own personal measured serving of Almased* (use the chart below). Add the banana, natural peanut butter, vanilla extract and ice. Start blender on low speed then blend on high for 30 seconds. Serve in chilled glass. Enjoy!
Variation: Add dark chocolate or apple chunks for additional flavor.
You may want to adjust quantities of all ingredients to accommodate more or less Almased.
